Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - discuss bug203, C_comp_* Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the 19 JUL 2022 meeting were reviewed. Randy Wolff moved to approve the minutes. Weston Beal seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. AR review: - none New ARs: - Randy will present the contract for approval in the open forum by email. - Weston will check to see if there is still a free version of HyperLynx Visual IBIS Editor to provide a link to put on the IBIS website. NEW ITEMS: We received a quote from Atul for the parser development contract. The schedule and cost are acceptable. Bob will write the delivery time in the contract as September 30, which is slightly later than Atul's proposal. The contract needs to be approved by the open forum. After the contract is approved, Bob will send the contract to Atul for signature, then to SAE ITC (Laurie), then to Randy Wolff. Randy started a discussion of bug203. The issue was about an input model with split C_comp_*. The open forum and ATM task group and quality task group discussed this bug when it was first filed. All parties decided that it should be an enhancement to the parser. The version 7.0.2 parser has added a caution message. Randy ask if only C_comp_pullup and C_comp_pulldown exist in a model, if C_comp_ground_clamp and C_comp_power_clamp should be included. The version 7.1 specification describes the problem of connecting the separate C_comp_* capacitors regardless of the existance of the corresponding I-V table. Each capacitor should be connected in parallel with its corresponding I-V table. Randy proposed that the description should be enhanced to be more explicite that any C_comp_* in the file must be connected in the netlist. The group concluded that the text in the specification already says this. For the quality checklist, Weston proposed adding a requirement that the C_comp_* values should have corresponding I-V tables (unless 0 current for all points) and corresponding [* Reference] voltages. The group agreed that this is a good item for best practices that should be included in the quality checklist. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBISCHK security fixes Weston moved to adjourn. Randy seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:56 ET Next meeting 02 AUG 2022
